Installed between the upper and lower sections of a subrack, the middle horizontal rail provides additional mechanical support, PCB positioning, and structural reinforcement. It can also serve as a mounting interface for PCB card guides, module supports, and other internal subrack accessories.
Middle horizontal rails are particularly useful in 6U and larger subrack assemblies, where additional internal support is required for PCB modules and mechanical components.
