DIN 41612 / IEC 60603-2 Eurocard Connectors
About this
product
DIN 41612 connectors, also known as Eurocard connectors, are standardized electrical connectors designed primarily for modular electronic systems. They provide the electrical interface between plug-in PCBs and backplanes in systems such as 19-inch subracks, Eurocard systems, industrial controllers, telecom equipment, railway electronics, and test systems.

The connector is mounted on the PCB, while the corresponding mating connector is mounted on the backplane. When the PCB is inserted into the subrack, the two connectors mate and establish the electrical connection.
Common Types
DIN 41612 connectors are available in different contact configurations and sizes, including:
- Type A
- Type B
- Type C
- Type D
- Type E
- Type F
Different versions provide different numbers and arrangements of contacts and are selected according to the electrical and mechanical requirements of the system.
